Last Sunday of the Month Evening Service 6:00pm

 

On the last Sunday of each month we gather together for an informal

“Popcorn Style” service. Typically we begin with Praise and Worship Songs then we move into our study of who God is. This is where the “Popcorn Style” comes into effect. As corn pops in a kettle it is spontaneous, we too share spontaneously in response to questions that arise in the study. As we share openly and honestly with each other we gain insight that we may never have thought of as it pertains to our relationship with God.

 

Blue jeans, tennis shoes are the norm during this service, all we ask is that you come with an open mind and open heart as we go before our God.

You will find the congregation at Lake Jackson to be loving and friendly to all who visit with us. Our Worship Service is informal, casual attire is always welcomed and suitable. Children are welcome to stay in the sanctuary during the worship service and are invited to come forward for a special lesson time with the Pastor. After which they are invited to go to Children’s Church for crafts and additional lessons.

Lake Jackson UMC is pleased to announce that it has been invited to lead the Worship Services at Woodmont Assisted Living Facilities. This is another opportunity for us to go and bless, and be blessed, by the residents of Woodmont.

 

Lake Jackson will conduct the Worship Services every fourth Sunday of the month beginning at 2:00pm. We invite you to come and experience for yourself what God can do in the lives of His people.
